Ingredients/Components

  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
  • olive oil - 1/2 c
  • spaghetti - 1 pkg
  • dry basil - 2 Tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese, cut in 1/4-inch cubes - 1 lb
  • fresh tomatoes, chopped and seeded - 4 item

How to make summer spaghetti:

Mix and set at room temperature covered at least 2 hours; better if it sets several hours. Cook 1 pound spaghetti. Drain spaghetti. While still hot, toss with sauce. Once tossed, sit 5 minutes to allow cheese to melt. Toss again, then serve.
