Fresh tomato sauce
Ingredients/Components
- medium tomatoes - 12 item
- cloves garlic, minced - 4 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- olive oil - 1/2 c
- fresh parsley - 1/2 c
- fresh basil - 1/2 c
- spaghetti - 1 lb
How to make fresh tomato sauce:
Quarter tomatoes and season. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of oil and herbs, mixed, over tomatoes. Bake at 425° for an hour. Remove skins; mash and add remaining oil. Toss over spaghetti. Top with Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Condiments, etc..
