- sugar - 3 c
- butter - 3 sticks
- eggs - 6 item
- flour - 3 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- carton sour cream - 8 oz
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 6 oz
How to make coconut pound cake:
Have butter at room temperature. Cream with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, salt and soda together. Add flour mixture and sour cream to the creamed mixture. Beat well. Add vanilla and coconut. Bake in well-greased and floured 10-inch tube pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
