Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • lard - 1 c
  • sour milk - 1 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream sugar, lard (I use Crisco) and eggs together. Add sour milk and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Chill at least 3 hours or longer. Roll out. Bake at 400° for 5 minutes.
