Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- boiling water - 2 c
- Cool Whip - 2 c
- melted butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- frozen strawberries - 1 pt
- pretzels, crushed - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter and 4 tablespoons sugar well. Press in bottom of 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes exactly. Cool well.Mix cream cheese with sugar until well blended. Blend into Cool Whip and spread over pretzel mixture. Mix jello with 2 cups boiling water and frozen strawberries. Cool until thick. Pour over Cool Whip mixture. Chill at least 1 hour. Will keep overnight in refrigerator, if you want to make ahead.
