Stuffed peppers
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- oatmeal - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- catsup - 1/4 c
- sage - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef
- medium bell peppers - 5 item
How to make stuffed peppers:
Combine eggs and milk; stir in crumbs, onions, salt, sage and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add beef; mix well. Stuff bell peppers. Put in a deep baking dish. Add 1/8 cup water to bottom of dish. Seal with foil; bake at 350° for 50 minutes.Combine catsup, sugar and mustard; spread over top of meat. Return to oven for 10 minutes, uncovered. Serves 5.
