Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • stick butter - 3/4 item
  • chopped walnuts or pecans - 1/2 c
  • loaf frozen bread dough - 1 item
  • butterscotch pudding mix not instant - 1/2 pkg

How to make sticky buns:

(Prepare late in the evening for baking in the morning.) Partially thaw bread dough. Slice in half lengthwise; cut each half into 6 pieces. Spray or grease bottom of tube pan. Place in bottom of pan the chopped nuts and raisins. Place bread dough pieces on top. Blend pudding mix and cinnamon and sprinkle over bread pieces.

In saucepan bring sugar, butter and brown sugar to a boil over medium heat. Pour over bread pieces. Cover pan with cloth and let rise overnight. Bake 30 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and let stand 2 to 3 minutes. Turn upside down on plate and serve immediately.
