Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- chopped green peppers - 1/4 c
- pimentos - 1/2 c
- bread or cracker crumbs - 1 item
- stick melted margarine - 1/2 item
- yellow squash, sliced - 1 lb
- c chopped pecans - 1/2 item
- grated cheese sharp - 1/2 c
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash until tender; drain. Add pecans, sugar, egg, mayonnaise, cheese, onions, pimentos, green peppers and salt and pepper to taste. Place in casserole. Top with crumbs and melted butter. Bake at 350° until brown.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
