Ingredients/Components
- can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 1 item
- can cream of shrimp soup - 1 item
- or 3 onions, diced - 2 item
- butter cracker crumbs - 1 item
- to 8 yellow squash, cubed - 6 item
How to make squash casserole:
Over low heat, saute squash and onions in small amount of oleo until tender-crisp. Salt and pepper to taste. Stir in shrimp soup and water chestnuts. Place in greased casserole and sprinkle buttered crumbs on top. Bake at 350° until hot and bubbly.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
