Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- hot milk - 1 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- small onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- dry bread crumbs - 1 c
- cooked yellow squash, mashed - 2 c
- buttered bread crumbs topping - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Melt margarine in hot milk. Pour over bread crumbs. Mix well and add to squash. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into baking dish and bake 30 minutes in 350° oven. Cover top with buttered bread crumbs and put under broiler a few minutes until slightly browned.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
