Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- pecans - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1/2 3/4
- bread crumbs - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- yellow squash - 1 lb
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash and drain. Add all ingredients except bread crumbs and 1/4 cup cheese for topping; mix. Add bread crumbs and cheese and bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Feeds 8 to 10 people.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
