Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- egg - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1/4 item
- large onion - 1 item
- bacon drippings - 1 Tbsp
- to 8 yellow squash - 6 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash, onion and seasonings in bacon drippings and small amount of water until tender. Drain well; add egg, oleo and cream cheese. Mix well. Pour in buttered casserole; top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
