Squash casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- squash, sliced - 1 lb
- sharp grated cheese - 1/2 c
- tube crackers, crumbled - 1 item
How to make squash casserole:
Cook squash; drain and mash. Add other ingredients, except butter and cracker crumbs. Put in 2-quart casserole. Top with cracker crumbs mixed with melted butter. Bake 35 to 40 minutes in 350° oven.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Casseroles.
