- milk - 1 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- butter, melted - 4 Tbsp
How to make spoonbread:
Place cornmeal and melted butter in a bowl. Add boiling water slowly and beat until smooth. Add milk and eggs and mix well. Pour into hot baking pan and bake in moderate oven (350°) for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Side dish.
