Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- egg yolks - 6 item
- egg whites - 6 item
- ground nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
How to make spinach souffle:
Combine soup, Cheddar cheese and nutmeg in saucepan. Heat slowly until cheese melts. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored; gradually stir into soup mixture. Cook spinach according to package and drain well. Add to soup mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff in a large bowl. Fold in soup mixture.Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings.
