Hot hominy casserole
Ingredients/Components
- grated cheese - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 med
- stick oleo - 3/4 item
- finely chopped Jalepeno peppers small or to taste - 2 item
- cans drained hominy I prefer yellow - 2 item
How to make hot hominy casserole:
Saute onion in oleo. Add remaining ingredients, stir well. Bake at 325° for about 45 minutes in covered dish. Remove from oven and stir well before serving. (You may reserve juice from hominy to add in case it gets too dry while cooking.)Recipe categories: Low calorie, Side dish, Casseroles.
