Ingredients/Components
- frozen chopped spinach - 3 pkg
- large onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- bread crumbs Pepperidge Farm herb seasoning stuffing is best - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- margarine - 3/4 c
How to make spinach balls:
Cook spinach and drain well. Mash a little at a time through colander to remove as much water as possible. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Roll in 3/4 to 1-inch balls. Freeze. Thaw and bake 20 minutes at 350°. (It is important that the balls be frozen.) Yields 75.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Cheese.
