Spicy meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- quick cooking oats - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ketchup
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- liquid smoke - 1 tsp
- ground beef or deer
How to make spicy meatballs:
Sauce:1 c. ketchup3/4 c. brown sugar1/2 c. onion, chopped1 tsp. liquid smoke1/4 tsp. garlic powder In a large bowl, beat egg. Add oats, milk, onion salt, pepper and garlic powder. Add ground beef or deer; mix well. Shape into 1 to 1 1/2-inch balls. Place in 9 x 14-inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and drain. In a saucepan, bring all sauce ingredients to a boil. Pour over meatballs.
