Spicy meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- Italian bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- onion, finely chopped - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- horseradish - 1/2 tsp
- dash of hot sauce - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- butter or margarine - 2 3
- ketchup - 1/2 c
- chili sauce - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- drops hot sauce - 4 item
How to make spicy meatballs:
Combine remaining ingredients in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add meatballs and simmer 10 additional minutes. Transfer to chafing dish and keep warm.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Low cholesterol, Main dish.
