Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 1/2
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • picante sauce - 1 c
  • envelope taco seasoning mix - 1 item
  • ground turkey or beef - 1 lb
  • Bisquick original or reduced fat baking mix - 2 c

How to make speedy taco bake:

Heat oven to 350°. Cook ground meat and onion until browned. Drain. Spoon into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Stir in taco seasoning mix (dry), tomato, picante sauce and corn. Sprinkle with cheese.

Stir remaining ingredients until blended. Pour over meat mixture. Bake 35 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve with sour cream, chopped tomato or shredded lettuce. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
