Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- soft butter - 2 Tbsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 6 oz
- spaghetti - 1 lb
- crushed red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped bell pepper - 1 c
- canned tomatoes - 28 oz
- sliced mushrooms, undrained - 4 oz
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown beef, onion, bell pepper and garlic. Drain. Add next 6 ingredients. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Cook spaghetti as directed. Drain. Toss with butter. Serve sauce over spaghetti. Top with Parmesan cheese.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
