Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- parsley - 4 Tbsp
- wine vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- cooked spaghetti - 1 item
- crushed basil - 1/2 tsp
- glove garlic, minced - 1/2 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
In a skillet, heat the oil and brown the onion. Add the ground beef, garlic, 2 tablespoons parsley, 1/4 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Cook until the beef is browned and transfer to a dish.In the same skillet, combine the tomato sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, oregano, basil, salt, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add the ground beef mixture and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve with cooked spaghetti. Serves 6.
