Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • basil - 1/4 tsp
  • cans tomato sauce - 4 oz
  • hamburger - 2 lb
  • olive oil - 2 Tbsp
  • cans tomato paste - 2 oz
  • green peppers - 2 item
  • large onions - 4 item
  • jars mushrooms if desired - 2 item

How to make spaghetti sauce:

Brown hamburger and drain grease. (Note: brown in the olive oil.) Chop onion, green peppers and mushrooms. Mix all ingredients and cook in a slow cooker for 6 to 8 hours.
