Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- oregano
- basil
- ground meat - 1 lb
- drops Tabasco sauce - 4 item
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- jar sliced mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- large tomato sauce - 1 item
- large can Italian tomatoes - 1 item
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown meat and onion together. Add tomatoes, sauce, paste and all other ingredients except mushrooms. Let simmer for about 1 hour. Near end of cooking time, add mushrooms. Makes enough sauce for about 1/2 pound of cooked spaghetti.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
