Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1 1/2
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- tomato paste - 12 oz
- 13 oz - 2 lb
- ground chuck, browned - 2 lb
- chopped onions or dried equivalent - 1/2 c
How to make spaghetti sauce:
Brown meat thoroughly, drain off grease. Add rest of ingredients, mix thoroughly. Simmer at least an hour or two, but the longer it simmers, the better it is.*Substitute: 2 quarts home-canned tomatoes run through blender.
