Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- ground beef
- cottage cheese - 1 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- tomato paste - 6 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 c
- spaghetti - 6 oz
- green pepper - 1/2 c
- can tomatoes, undrained - 1 oz
How to make spaghetti pie:
Meat Filling:1 lb. ground beef1/2 c. onion, chopped1/2 c. green pepper1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained6 oz. tomato paste1 tsp. sugar1 tsp. oregano1/2 tsp. garlic salt Cook and drain spaghetti. Combine with margarine, Parmesan cheese and eggs. Press into a buttered 9-inch pie plate. Prepare meat filling. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust. Top with meat filling. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and bake 5 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
