Ingredients/Components
- milk
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 1/3 c
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- carrots - 2 lb
- white pepper - 1/8 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- buttered bread crumbs - 1 item
How to make carrot casserole:
Cook carrots in small amount of water until done. Saute onion and pepper until done in small amount of oil. Mash carrots and stir in onion and pepper. Make thick cream sauce with butter, flour, pepper and milk. Mix all together and bake at 350° until bread crumbs are nicely browned.Recipe categories: Carrots, Main dish, Casseroles.
