  • sugar - 1 c
  • Karo syrup - 1 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • broken pecans - 1 c
  • unbaked pie shell - 1 item

How to make southern pecan pie:

Beat the eggs and sugar together. Add margarine and syrup. Mix well. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into pie shell and bake at 325° for 1 hour or until firm.
