Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- lemon or orange flavoring - 1/2 tsp
How to make sour cream drop cookies:
Cream the shortening and sugar. Add beaten egg and mix very well. Mix and sift flour and soda together, adding sour cream alternately with flour. Add flavoring last. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
