Sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- 8 oz - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla
How to make sour cream coffee cake:
Cream the margarine and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Mix. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat until combined. Pour half of the mixture into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with half of the topping mix. Add remaining batter and topping. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes or until done.Topping:1/3 c. packed brown sugar2 tsp. ground cinnamon1/4 c. sugar1/2 c. chopped pecans. Combine.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
