Never fail rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- all-purpose flour, sifted - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- boiling water - 1 c
- shortening - 3/4 c
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast cakes, crumbled - 2 item
How to make never fail rolls:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix sugar, shortening, salt and boiling water. When this mixture is lukewarm, add yeast mixture and eggs. Beat with mixer. Add flour. Cover with greased wax paper. Put in refrigerator. Roll out and let rise as needed. Bake at 400° for about 15 minutes. Dough keeps in refrigerator for several days.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Rolls/biscuits.
