Sour cream chicken squares
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- diced pimento - 1 jar
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1/3 c
- green onions - 1/3 c
- Bisquick baking mix - 2 c
- cut up cooked chicken - 1 c
- mushroom stems and pieces, drained - 1 can
How to make sour cream chicken squares:
Heat oven to 425°. Grease rectangular baking dish (13 x9 x 2-inch). Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Gently smooth dough into ball on floured board. Knead 5 times. Roll dough into rectangle, 14 x 10-inch. Place dough in dish so edges are 1/2 inch up sides.Mix remaining ingredients; pour over dough. Bake until edges are golden and knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
