Shrimp marinara
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- oregano - 3/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- raw shrimp - 2 lb
- salad or olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- good dash of cayenne - 1 item
- large can crushed Italian tomatoes with or without basil - 1 item
- hot cooked rice or pasta if preferred - 4 c
How to make shrimp marinara:
In oil, saute garlic; add spices and crushed tomatoes. Simmer until sauce is reduced. Add shrimp that have been peeled and deveined. Cook for a few minutes until shrimp are tender. Serve over rice or pasta. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
