Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 2 Tbsp
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- bread cubes - 1 c
How to make scalloped tomatoes:
Drain tomatoes; reserve liquid. Heat the liquid to boiling. Add bouillon cube until dissolved. Add tomatoes, onion, celery, salt and bread cubes. Pour into 1-quart casserole dish. Dab top with butter. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.Note: You may wish to spread grated cheese on the top also.
