  • mushrooms - 1 lb
  • margarine - 5 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper - 1 item

How to make sauteed mushrooms:

Wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth. Leave whole or slice lengthwise, stems and all. Melt butter in a skillet. Add mushrooms and cook 6 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Serve on buttered toast. Good with steak or other meats.
