Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped celery - 3/4 c
  • wine vinegar - 1/2 c
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can French-style green beans - 1 oz
  • can Shoe Peg corn Green Giant - 1 oz
  • medium size onion, chopped - 1 item
  • jar chopped pimento - 1 item
  • can tiny green peas LeSueur - 1 oz
  • Combine with onion, celery and pimentos

How to make vegetable salad:

Drain the vegetables. Combine with onion, celery and pimentos. Pour dressing over vegetables.Dressing:1/2 c. salad oil1/2 c. wine vinegar1/2 c. sugar1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. black pepper Heat this to boiling point. Pour over ingredients. Fix it the day before. Will keep 2 weeks. Serves 8 to 10.
