Oriental green bean casserole
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- mushrooms - 1 c
- dash of hot sauce - 1 item
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
- can water chestnuts, sliced - 1 item
- cans green beans - 2 item
- can French fried onion rings - 1 item
How to make oriental green bean casserole:
Saute the onion and mushrooms in the margarine in a saucepan. Add the soup, soy sauce, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Heat through. Alternate layers of green beans and water chestnuts. Pour the soup mixture over the top. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Put the onion rings on top an bake for 5 more minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Beans.
