  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • chopped walnuts - 3 c
  • can Eagle Brand condensed milk - 1 item
  • stick oleo or butter - 1 item
  • large bag chocolate chips - 1 item
  • Angel Flake coconut
  • Parawax - 1 oz

How to make chocolate bonbons:

Mix sugar, coconut, milk and vanilla. Pour melted oleo over nuts, then add to first mixture. Chill dough. Use melon baller to make bonbons for uniform size. Melt chocolate chips and Parawax in double boiler. Dip each ball into chocolate and place on waxed paper. Refrigerate or freeze.

Note: This recipe can be made a month before Christmas. Keeps well.
