Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- salad oil
- green pepper, diced - 1 item
- small jar pimentos, diced - 1 item
- small can tiny green peas - 1 item
- 2 can whole tiny string beans Blue Lake variety
- celery stems, diced - 4 item
- or 3 very small onions, cut in vinegar - 2 item
- thin sliced carrots, if desired - 1 item
How to make vegetable salad:
Marinade:1/2 c. salad oil3/4 c. vinegar3/4 c. sugar3 Tbsp. salt Combine marinade ingredients, blending well. Pour over canned vegetables, which have been drained well. Mix with fresh vegetables. Cover and marinate for 24 hours. Drain to remove marinade. Garnish with romaine.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegan, Vegetables.
