Ingredients/Components
- oil
- egg - 1 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- bean sprouts - 1 c
- dash of ginger - 1 item
- celery - 1/2 c
- diagonally sliced scallions with tops or yellow onions - 1/2 c
- diced chicken or beef, cooked
- cold, cooked rice brown or white - 2 c
How to make fried rice:
Heat oil in skillet or wok; add scallions, celery and meat. Stir until vegetables are barely tender. Add rice and sprouts. Heat quickly while stirring. Beat egg with soy sauce and ginger. Add rice to mixture; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Vegan, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
