Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 2/3 1
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 2/3 c
- sifted flour - 4 c
- corn meal - 1/4 c
- sausage - 2 lb
How to make sausage swirls:
Sift dry ingredients together. Blend in oil. Add enough milk to make a stiff dough. Thinly roll out dough on lightly floured board into two 10 x 18-inch rectangles. Spread with sausage and roll up lengthwise. Chill well and slice. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Breakfast, Appetizers.
