Sausage swirls
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- corn meal - 1/8 c
- hot bulk sausage - 1 lb
How to make sausage swirls:
Sift dry ingredients. Blend in oil. Add enough milk to make a stiff dough. Roll thin on floured board into 10 x 18-inch rectangle. Spread uncooked sausage on top and roll lengthwise. Chill. Slice and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.Note: This may be frozen before slicing.
