Ingredients/Components
- can creamed mushroom soup - 1 1/2
- ground beef
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- water - 1/3 c
How to make salisbury steak:
Combine 1/4 cup of soup with rest of ingredients, except water. Mix thoroughly. Shape into 6 patties. Place in shallow pan or baking dish (13 x 9 x 2-inch). Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Spoon off fat. Combine remaining soup and water. Pour over meat and bake 10 minutes more. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Time to make, < 30 mins, Oamc/freezer/make ahead.
