Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt
- water - 1/2 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- can celery soup - 1/2 item
- tomato juice or milk - 1/4 c
- Topping:1 can golden mushroom soup
- ground chuck or lean hamburger
- cooked quick oatmeal - 1/4 c
How to make salisbury steak:
Topping:1 can golden mushroom soup1/2 can celery soup1/2 c. water Mix ingredients and make thin oblong patties; dip patties in flour, 1/2 cup milk and 1 more egg. Roll in fine cracker crumbs. Brown on grill or skillet with very little oil at 375°. Layer in casserole and pour the topping over the patties.
