Ingredients/Components
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- water - 1/3 c
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- golden mushroom soup - 1 can
How to make salisbury steaks:
Combine 1/4 cup soup with remaining ingredients (except water). Mix and shape into 6 patties and place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Drain off fat. Combine remaining soup with water and pour over patties. Bake 10 to 15 minutes more until hot. Great served with noodles. Serves 6.Recipe from Old Baptist Hospital.
