Italian meatball sandwich
Ingredients/Components
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- water - 1/4 c
- fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can golden mushroom soup - 1 item
- shredded cheese optional - 1 item
- long hard rolls, toasted - 6 item
How to make italian meatball sandwich:
Mix thoroughly beef, crumbs, egg, onion and salt. Shape into 24 meatballs. Brown meatballs in skillet. Pour off fat. Add soup, water and oregano. Cover. Cook on low for 20 minutes or until done.
