Russian tea cakes



  • butter, softened - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour
  • egg - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 1/2 c

How to make russian tea cakes:

Combine first four ingredients until creamed, then add flour and salt until mixture sticks together. Form into 1-inch balls and bake 10 to 12 minutes at 400° until set, but not brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm, then roll again when cool.
