Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 4 c
  • salt - 1/2 c
  • celery seed
  • medium onions, sliced - 2 item
  • white vinegar - 4 c
  • mustard seed
  • turmeric - 1/3 tsp
  • cucumbers - 1 gal

How to make refrigerator pickles:

Bring all ingredients to a boil, except cucumbers. Let cool, then pour over cucumbers that have been placed into a gallon jar. Put in refrigerator; let set about 2 weeks before eating.
