Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- salt - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 c
- alum - 1/2 tsp
- turmeric - 1 tsp
- onions - 2 c
- celery seeds - 1 tsp
- unpeeled cukes - 14 c
How to make refrigerator pickles:
Put cukes and onions into large bowl. Cover with salt and water. Let set for 3 hours. Drain water off. While cukes are soaking, stir and mix other ingredients. Place cukes into jars and pour season mixture over them. Place lids on jars and store in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Summer, Seasonal.
