Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- molasses - 1/2 c
- raisins
- whole wheat flour - 2 c
How to make raisin brown bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 5-inch pan. In large bowl stir all ingredients and 2 tablespoons hot water just until well combined. Pour into loaf pan; bake 50 minutes or until bread pulls away from sides of pan. Remove from pan and cool on wire racks.
